Last September were asked to carry out a survey of two booster sets that supplied a large apartment complex. On this site visit we noticed various issues that we putting unnecessary stress on the system. These included:
After a through investigation, we advised that the settings be adjusted to suit the site. Top bearings be replaced and mechanical seals replaced where required.
Fast forward 11 months and with the report been rejected by the pump company who had the maintenance contract, we were called in to fix the issues.
After fixing various faults, the fix was immediately noticed by the residents and the pumps get to breath a sigh of relief.
This pump provides water to over 100 apartments and we were called when the building maintenance manager noticed water leaking from the base of the pumps.
We were notified of water leaking from the cold water booster set, upon arrival we found water flowing from the base of the pump.
